Helvetica Exchange is the Rive district's bureau de change: Helvetica Exchange, Rue Pierre-Fatio 19, 1204 Geneva (Rive district) — the posted rate is the counter rate, no separate commission. Monday–Friday 08:30–18:30, Saturday 09:00–17:00. Reserve and your rate is held for 3 hours during opening hours; ID from the LBA thresholds. More than 70 currencies over the counter, physical gold and silver at the same window.
One address, every use: the traveller composing an envelope, the frontalier converting a salary, the shopkeeper clearing the till, the buyer of a first gold bar. The rates displayed are the counter's own — the same quotation engine everywhere in the house, tiers improving with the amount (posted up to CHF 800, improved to 3'500, preferential beyond — private lounge on request). Reservation holds your rate 3 hours during opening hours, and your denominations are prepared in advance. Two minutes from Rive's shops, tram and parking nearby: the visit takes as long as a coffee — shorter, usually.
