We change your US dollars against Swiss francs — in both directions — Helvetica Exchange, Rue Pierre-Fatio 19, 1204 Geneva (Rive district) — the posted rate is the counter rate, no separate commission. Monday–Friday 08:30–18:30, Saturday 09:00–17:00. Reserve and your rate is held for 3 hours during opening hours; ID from the LBA thresholds. Expatriates and business travellers: small and large recent USD bills in stock.
Geneva's dollar is not the airport's. Here it serves the city of international organisations and corporate headquarters: salaries and pensions in USD, missions abroad, expatriate families receiving or sending dollars, business travellers between two flights. Many countries outside Europe accept, in practice, only recent and immaculate bills — a detail usually discovered too late at a hotel desk. So we keep recent US denominations, small and large, and build mission envelopes on reservation. The dawn-departure ritual: the night before, two minutes suffice — a word to ARIA, the rate reserved, the envelope composed in 50s and 100s with a sheaf of small bills for the first day's tips.
