Pounds GBP / CHF, at the counter.
We change your pounds sterling against Swiss francs — both ways — Helvetica Exchange, Rue Pierre-Fatio 19, 1204 Geneva (Rive district) — the posted rate is the counter rate, no separate commission. Monday–Friday 08:30–18:30, Saturday 09:00–17:00. Reserve and your rate is held for 3 hours during opening hours; ID from the LBA thresholds. UK residents and travellers: recent polymer Bank of England notes, denominations of your choosing.
Sterling circulates in Geneva through its human ties: binational families, students leaving for a London or Edinburgh term, professionals shuttling to the City, owners keeping a foothold across the Channel. The Bank of England now prints only polymer — notes that never crease yet forgive no old series left in a drawer. We sell recent polymer notes in the denominations a stay actually uses, and buy back what returns with you at the posted rate. The academic calendar has its own rhythm: housing deposit, term fees, the first month's pocket money — the international transfer covers the bulk; cash covers the real (the Oyster card, the first pub, the week the local bank keeps you waiting).

Questions.
Which sterling series do you sell?
Recent polymer Bank of England notes — the series currently circulating, accepted everywhere without discussion.
I have pounds left from an old trip — what now?
Bring them: current-series notes are bought back at the posted rate. For older notes, the counter will tell you honestly, note in hand, what is possible.
